shifting problems?

Default shifting problems?

The other night i was drinving and the went to put in reverse and it would not go in. Just woundering if anyone had this problem before with the 6 speed tranny? RC srt -10

I have not had a problem with my truck and it a 6 speed to.

There's alot of moving parts in that there 6/speed manual trans. They don't always mesh as soon as we would like them to do.
You will have a refuseal every once in awhile....never under W.O.T.!
I fine letting the clutch out half way and trying it again,always works.
Now with that said, if there is something wrong with your tranny or clutch, then your problem will get worst, and you'll know.

1. Your clutch could be going out

2. Possibly bleeding your system may help

3. Possibly replacing your fluid with a HIGH HIGH temp fluid and bleeding could help

i will try to bleed the clutch and if that doesn't work then i will try the high temp fluid thanx.

You don't have the year of your Tuuck in yoursig. The '04's had a problem with the clutch-fluid line being to close to the header. They put a heat/shield over the line and put it up and away from the header-pipe.

my 04 had the 6th gear syncros go bad and 2 weeks ago my dealer replaced the trans with a new one...and yes i was having problem getting it into reverse too...
