Hello since we bought this 1992 Ram 250 Van it has been leaking, but since we made a 145 mile trip it has been leaking from the pan at least 1/4 - 1/2 a cup of fluid every night. I was having a shifting problem where it would stall in drive, but that stopped, my mechanic said it was most likely the torque converter or pump, inside seals, loss of pressure and suggested Trans Fix and I have poured 2 bottles in over the last month or so. There is no other symptom except the leak. I just read on here that someone else had a leak that turned out to be a loose line, maybe I have a similar problem, we never did take a look at the lines, so I don't know. I will have to get under there today and check to make sure they are tight. Any thoughts?

Just clean it off good at a self service car wash and then watch for where the leak starts.

The other thing you can do after you clean the transmission is add transmission dye. The color will be yellow under a black lite and you can find the leak.
