Default Need help finding a lift kit....

Ok I have a '94 B250 2wd and I want to lift it so I can get better clearance and bigger tires as this will be used as my exploration vehicle....

I find lots of 2wd ram truck lifts but can't find anything on lifting the van...

No I don't need or want to turn it into a 4wd as a 2wd with a locker in the rear has as many powered wheels as any stock 4wd LOL I just want it up and the ability to put some decent all terrain tires on it for when I get out on the beach or off into the woods or what not during my travels..

HELP!!!!!! any and all info will be greatly appreciated.

Lifitng the rear is going to be easy.

The front, you are going to have a problem. I just got my van and havent looked at how the front is set up, but I have a general idea through watching DIY vehicle shows. There is a coil spring up front, could fab up a spacer, or find one online. Otherwise you are going to have to change the A thing, where the coil goes onto the bottom. Mine is 2wd 88 ram van, and I can put in decent sized tires on the sagging beast. 31's would probably fit, or 29's. Its 2wd so you dont need huge tires on it, unless you are going for a certain look but then again that is going to cost you. Find out what the biggest size tire is you can put on, and install that one. I would guess its a 29". You could also do some fender trimming.

Well I would like to stuff 33" tires under it and have it lifted accordingly so the larger tires don't rub or bottom out, I'd love to get it lookin like this

I really don't want to swap the dodge for a Ford but it seems that this would be alot easier to do with a E250 than with my B250, just my B250 has a greater tow capacity

a 4wd van would rock, I would love one as well, having a divorced transfer case 205 or twinstick is easy, getting them to cut the driveline. Making them all equal is the ideal situation. But setting up the front diff is always the killer. Too much work. Best to buy a 4x4 truck, pop the body off.

If you are headstrong on the huge tires, easiest way is to cut the fenders, get custom coils. But then you got the A thing to deal with. I am sorry I should know the name of it. Just to lazy to google it. Its the thing at the bottom of the coil. Control Arm. Looooong week for me.
