88 b250 shut off,no spark or fuel
I bridged the two wires on the asd,my fuel pump turned on,but no spark no start... I wish I knew how to test the hall effect. I even tried a different coil,no luck. I didn't bolt the coil down, just hooked up the wires, nothing. This is frustrating! Do you know if there are any grounds near the fuel tank or pump that could affect this?

You will have to right click the photo, save the image and open it and zoom in in windows or the mac equivalent to be able to read it.
Best I can do.
The fuel pump ground would not affect spark to the best of my limited knowledge. I'm thinking your ECM might be done for.
Landyacht318...Mr.landyacht318 to me,just want to say THANK YOU for your time and effort, over the internet for helping someone that you don't know! It's people like you that take the time and try to help out someone in need of help,I appreciate the info! I tested the hall effect, went to Napa, picked it up put it in and BINGO it runs again! I have old Mopars that have quit running, and it seems like the old pick up in the distributers is fairly commen to go out. They just shut off, like you shut off the key.Boom...dead. I will be getting another one for a spare,I even have a spare asd now too! Thanks again for your time and pic! Kevin
