Default 1994 Dodge B250 318 stalling ...need help

I have a 1994 Dodge b250 318. Starts great first thing in morning. Runs beautiful for about a minute. Then starts to hesitate, i hit gas, runs for a minute then stalls and then has a hiss noise through carb. Then will not start anymore. Turn key and can hear a arcing sound once. Then won't hear it again if I turn the key off then back on.

Replaced pickup coil, coil, distributor, rotor, checked all connections (all have power).

No spark after it stalls. Code 11 after it stalls.

Any idea's?

The van will start again after 1/2 an hour and after I hook the battery back up. Then it will run for about 30 seconds. But I have to unhook the battery after it stalls for this to happen.

Code 11: Intermittent loss of crankshaft position sensor. No crank reference signal detected during engine cranking.

Sounds like your crank sensor or wiring to it is faulty.

Yeah, I'm trying to find a wiring diagram / points so I can figure out which wire goes to what. It's arcing/sparking somewhere...just can't find it.

Thanks

Might try this evening once it is dark and see where it is sparking then.

Did it start at a different time after the arcing sound? If not recheck the fuses. I believe on your van you have Fuse-Links behind the brake booster, might check them as well.

On your crank sensor see if these colors match yours where the crank sensor plugs into the vans harness: Gray/Black, Violet/White, Black/Light Blue. If so then here is the brake down:
Black/Light blue is ground.
Violet/White is 5 volt power supply that also powers: distributor camshaft position sensor, TPS sensor.
Gray/Black is Sensor wire

Well, just replaced the crankshaft position sensor and it started right up. So far so good. Will post again if this changes. Been working on this for two weeks now. Thanks for the help.

It's still running great but for some reason the temperature gauge says its running hot. But I don't think it is. Also, it doesn't pop when I take off the cap. I was having this problem right before it stopped starting. I have replaced the waterpump, thermostat, fan, radiator, hoses, dist. cap, coil, rotor and temperature gauge sensor. Maybe a bad temp. gauge?

Depending how fast it says it is hot it could be a short in the gage wire if it reads hot with a few seconds of start up. If it takes a few minutes then it may be a second bad temp sensor or the gage.

Default I may have the same problem

I bought a 1994 Dodge B250 Ram Mark III Van about 3 weeks ago and it started having problems with Engine Light on, hesitation, power loss, and now it starts, runs, hisses, & dies. Just like yours did. Hope I can solve it with a CPS fix too.
