Well, you can unplug the PCM three connectors, clean them with CRC electrical cleaner or an equivalent electrical cleaner and then reconnect them. If this solves the problem, the cost would be less than $8 and some time. Else find a replacement PCM from CARDONE.

Ok, one last question for now. Where is the PCM located? Thanks for all the help, I never had a computer go bad on me.

I believe I located the PCM, I think it is the middle of the firewall, 3 large connectors. I will clean connections to see if that helps. Do PCM's just go bad or most of the time is it something else makes them go bad. I just hope if I replace the PCM something dosen't fry it. TIA

Alright, received my remaned PCM yestreday, battery dead, charged it alnight. hooked it up, it started. Yea, now the AC only blows thru the defrost, no matter what setting the sector is on and the "brake" and "ABS" lights are on. None of these problems were there before the remaned PCM. Lol.

I will drive it for a week so the PCM can learn my van and report back.

Thanks for all the help guys..................

There's a vacuum line that runs from the passenger side of the intake manifold to the reservoir behind the passenger headlight. That's the main vacuum line for the HVAC controls. I'm sure it's broken or disconnected. Repair it and the dash control will start working again.

As for the brake/ABS lights, did you check the brake fluid level?
If you keep constant pressure on the brake pedal, does it slowly go to the floor?

There is also a vacuum line that runs along the top of the firewall in front of the PCM, I have seen this line break many times. A simple fix once you find both of the lines is to use a 1/8 or maybe smaller rubber hose and slide both the nylon vacuum lines into that hose to fix the leak/break.

Thanks guys. It was the vacuum line near the PCM. It got behind the PCM when I installed it and was mashed. The fix was with an 1/8" hose. Perfect. Thanks again.
