Default 2003 1500 Dodge Van NO SPARK OR FUEL PRESSURE!?!?

I have an 03 Ram Van with the 5.2 V8. I went to go start it one morning and all it would do was crank. First I just thought shoot I parted on a hill and it was low on gas thats my problem...put 5 gal in it and nothing. I then checked to see if I was getting spark...the answer was no. I proceeded after that to replace the Crank sensor and pick up coil thinking they were cheap enough and I heard they were common part failures. No luck of course it couldnt be that easy so I decide to check to see if I was getting 12V to the coil...no nothing at all. I swap out the ASD relay, for the a/c relay...still nothing. Then out of the blue I just happen to decide to check and see if I was getting fuel pressure...no pressure at all.

At this point Im thinking its either a ECU or something else Im missing since I've nearly covered all my bases...that I am aware of. If anyone has had an experience like this, or could offer any advise Im all ears and would greatly appriciate it. Thanks in advance.

Try bypassing the ASD relay with a short length of wire. It sounds as if the ecm/pcm is not telling it to operate.

I am not sure if the ASD relay sticky at the top is similar enough to your later relay to be of assistance.

I tried swapping out a relay from the A/C spot already which was a good relay and the same one. Im still scratching my head, I did notice when I tried cranking it I didnt see a check engine light, and my gauges didnt move but I cant remeber if the van actually had to be running before the gauges moved prior to this happening. Im almost putting money on the ECU at this point....or power comming to it.

I even used another relay for the ASD besides, the A/C one just in case it was bad even though my A/C was working great. Even with the other one I still got nothing.

Check the large #1 fuse in the under hood power box.

You probably need a PCM.Tap on the PCM with a small hammer, you shoulod hear the fuel pump relay and pump kick on,then it should start.Even wiggle the 3 connectors to the PCM,a major issue with Dodge,PCM on major, major backorder.Get ready to spend $700.00 or better.

You can't solve all the problems by rapping on the PCM. You need to find the cause of the no start condition. I would take the advise of either alloro or landyacht, these guys are really good.
