Help with lug nuts
Hey!
I just got new rims for my Van 250 96, but the guy in the garage ****ed up the threads on 2 wheels, now, this is my question, Can I change the screws that holds the rim or Do I need to get the whole plate? Sorry I dont know the proper names..last thing, where can I get a catalog to see all of those proper names..
Thank You!!!

If on the front, you can remove the rotors and press out the old studs, or you can replace the rotors if they are ancient and grooved.
If on the rear, the diff cover must be removed, the c clips removed, and the axle shafts pulled out, the studs replaced, new seals inserted into the axle, and re installed.
Lug studs cost 47 cents apiece.

The mechanic said that the axl shaft in not good anymore, the star shaped in the holes (for the studs) is gone and it cost me 1,000,00 to fix it, so I got a new van now, a 2001 1500 5.2, Now that I wanted to change my rims to this new van I found that 2 of the nuts in 2 different wheels are stuck! guess I'll take it to the shop and ask for the removal of these 2 stubborn nuts..
