Default Strange lights.

This afternoon when I started my van (2000 B3500), the ABS light and airbag lights stayed on. The speedometer and tripmeter also quit working. When I started it up the next time, everthing was fine. Anybody have any ideas what causes this?

thanks

It sounds like your ignition switch could be worn and portions are making intermittent contact.

loose wire at the most. these lights tell you that the start up test, these devices are not working, you can still operate the van (orange lights) but you don't have ABS or Airbags. Things should reset themselves on the next restart, you are fine, if not then check the connections
