He's got the most straight forward info on lowering too. Even breaks down the differences between 94-97 and 98-03 body styles.

If you check out his latest video you will see the poor guy is fed up with suspension problems. While I want to lower my shorty, I’m having second thoughts based on the fact that he’s having constant problems.

Heres the link;

Default Tubular Truck control arms for a 1999 van?

Has anybody tried using a Dodge truck setup? Like tubular control arms? There's SO much stuff out there for the trucks, but ALL of those suppliers say "can't help ya" once the word VAN comes into the conversation... Did Dodge REALLY go to the trouble of completely redesigning upper and lower control arm geometries just because its a van? Seems like the'd just pull one outta the truck bucket o' parts. If anyone has tried this, I'd be interested... I'm looking at this kit for the same tear truck as my 99 shorty van... https://djmsuspension.com/product-ca...e-ram9499-kit/

Might be an interesting idea to take some measurements of your control arms, (and some pics....) and go to the local pick-n-pull, and compare the two... It's *possible* they are compatible...... but, I would verify before spending money.

My investigation indicates that we can probably use BellTech 91-96 Dakota drop spindles to get 2" and then add lowering springs (or cut yours) and get another 2". Some grinding will be required. Lowering the rear is pretty straightforward as flipping the axle should get you 5" easy. However none of this is for amateurs as there will be additional issues.

I contacted a specialist and will update when I have more info. In the meantime, check out forums dedicated to lowering vans.
I know this is a old topic very old topic, but for anybody else searching. Dodge Dakota drop spindles work perfectly.
