Default Light options

I tried to search the net for options besides the plastic OEM's. What options does our Ram Vans have for different lights

Head lights
Tail Lights

I know for interior and running lights the limits are only stuck to ourselves. As lots of the newer LED lights are easy enough to hard or soft wire in. But for headlights and tail lights the options are limited and not many places carry upgrades.

I know that the newer LED head lights like what they are using on Semi Trucks will become an option in a replacement bulb over a whole head light system. So if a better head light housing was found it could still be converted to the newer and brighter LED head light.

But the Tail lights outside of putting in an LED bulb and sticking with the factory tail light, or going as far as taking a pair from a Ram Truck and changing the hole, there is little to no options for aftermarket or anything else to personalize these areas.

I am trying to stay away from changing them to the Ram Truck style, just wont look right on a van. But easy enough to do with a MIG and parts. In that case you could fab up just about any look you wanted, was just looking for something that is more adapt to the current style and look over a redesign.

On a side note: anyone know a good aftermarket or even OEM site for accessories for these vans? I keep finding companys that deal with the limited resources for the conversion companys that have gone under. Really trying to stay away from having to custom fab up most of what I would like to upgrade.

For a brighter light I would just use the stock wiring to activate a relay with 10 awg to the headlights, so they actually see alternator voltage.

The difference in light output on most bulbs between 12.6 and 14.4v is 50% more lumens.

This of course burns out bulbs faster. Oh well.

I would avoid HID replacements. None of them seem to hit the projector correctly and just blind other drivers with an obnoxious poorly aimed blue light.

I can't help you on the personalization of your ride. I do not have the 'look at me' gene, and would rather go unnoticed.
