Default Headers for near-stock 5.2L 318 (1991)

91 B150 RamVan w/5.2L 318ci auto - Please provide links to recommendations.

I need to buy new exhaust and was thinking two mufflers to avoid a cross-pipe.

1 - Benefits/drawbacks of a muffler per header?
2 - I want low-end torque
3 - Volume/sound doesn't matter

4 - If I go straight from header to muffler, what size in/out should I have on the muffler to ensure good low-end torque?

5 - What sizing would I go for if I wanted more power at higher RPM's

Before you start consider how loud headers will be underneath the doghouse
heat will also be a concern. Myself I think the sound may be more of a issue
than the floor getting warm.

Ceramic coated headers will reduce both noise and heat. On the flipside, they are more expensive.

Stock 318's don't achieve enough rpm for headers to have any performance benefit anyway.

I've got a single Flowmaster 50 series behind a magnaflow Cat. Sure sounds faster.

It isn't.

In my experience you should also get you hands on a torch to heat the
bolts before trying to remove them. I have done my share of drilling out
and tapping after breaking a exhaust manifold bolt.

Default Update

I went with Hedman Hedder PN 79036 (ceramic coated). I got 70 off coupon code making them $407. then 20 more off for being backordered for a month.

i havemt put them on yet. in the past few months i aquired a 318 block, msd atomic efi, hvc coil, 6al controller. Looks like I'm doing more than I initially thought
