I'm ordering a PCM and I need the part number i can't get into the PCM to get the number what should I do ?

 

The number is on the outside of the PCM case, not the inside. Look on the big white sticker for a number that ends in a double letter like: AA, AB, BE, etc.

 

DUE NOTE: The PCM is not the same for each Ram Van.

The 3.9L, 5.2L and 5.9L are different PCM p/n's. AND each has sub-extensions within the PCM series due to the year and transmission type. Also, the different frame type dictates if 15-inch or 16-inch rimes and tires are used for the PCM to control the ABS of single or dual piston calipers. Talking about ABS, some PCMs control at wheel ABS vs. the standard rear ABS only systems.
