2001 2500 ram van cuts out while driving
Hate to say I told you so but crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor generally result in no start / no run.
Intermittent issues are by far the hardest to diagnose.
Try carefully cleaning every contact on those 3 PCM connectors with an abrasive (scotchbright pad, 2000 grit sandpaper, emery cloth) . Be sure to always disconnect the battery before unplugging the PCM connectors. If it still fails it is probably an internal issue with the PCM or the coil isn't properly grounded.

When I bought my van I got it on the cheap side because it would run for 20 minutes and then shut down. After it cooled a bit it would run for 20 minutes and then shut down. After I got it home I replaced the crank sensor and the problem disappeared, never to return. Assume nothing, check everything.
i wiggled and pressed in 3 harnesses by pcm and with ignition on i could hear relays kicking in. Gonna try cleaning them and somehow clamping them tighter to pcm. Just wondering i could buy a plug and drive pcm from a researched company on internet for 300 or go thru dealer and its 670 plus 110 to program. Any thoughts. Thanks again for all the help
