Default Serpentine belt replacement on 1995 Dodge Ram b1500???

I just went and got an oil change and the gentleman told me that my Serpitine belt is starting to crack and I need to change it soon. I went to buy the part after watching a video on YouTube and seeing how easy it was. However...the video was for a truck. Any post on this forum about fixing this. Praying that it's something I can do myself. As always any tips and things are greatly appreciated.

Put a socket and prybar on the bolt for the tensioner, take tension off it, remove the belt. Install is reverse of removal. Should be a belt routing diagram under the hood.

Truck or car it's the same thing. Just make sure you have an accurate belt routing diagram BEFORE you remove the old belt. If the diagram is missing then draw one BEFORE you remove the old belt. Like jkeaton said, check under the hood for it.

Thanks guys!!! I will have to get to it this weekend but will update how it goes. I thought for a minute I was going to have to take out the dog house to get to it (thought it was on the inside)

It's an easy and doable process. The guys above have given you good advice. It would just like to say that the Goodyear Gatorback Belt is your best option for a replacement. It's more expensive -- but only about $8 more.

This is the diagram that was under my hood. Question? When I put it back on do I follow the same pattern as taking it off?

Yes, or course. Any other pattern may make some things run backwards.
