Thanks, I'll stop by tomorrow and see what they say. Maybe there is a ground that wasn't re-hooked back up.

They have to get in it to test drive it as well as adjust the shift linkage after. I just meant getting in or out of the driver's seat the mechanic could've been a bit to rough on the switch.

don't know if you solved your problem yet but the fuse marked hazards under the hood control the blinkers too. I found out when my starter/ac fuse blew and van would not start so I took the hazard flasher to replace the ac fuse (both 20 amp) just to get the van started but then my blinkers would not work. I have a 98 1500 van and am having a problem with ac/starter fuse blowing when I turn on ac
