NEWBIE: Tranny hose replacement

ok, so from your picture, the green circled area is the nut you are going to have to do, it will require 2 wrenches, the side on the left, wont move, but needs to be held in place allowing the side on the right to unscrew - it is a compression fitting
the part of the pic circled in red, is a snap in fitting, you depress those 2 tangs sticking out, and the whole thing will just pull out of the hole
From what I've read one of these lines (either return or supply) will be pressured. Do I need to worry about that, or just expect normal drainage?

that is what I found also, but from the pic you have above, just that piece comes off... if you can't find just that small section, then the next step would be to replace the whole hardline as well, as that linked part is 1 solid piece, that doesn't have the hose as it's own piece
