Default HELP! Headlights and Power door locks dont work

Hello!

I have some serious problems that i need help with.
Something has happen with my power door locks and Headlights.
Headlights + Instrumentlights + Taillights, brakelights: Dont work
Power door locks: Dont work
Both stopped working at the same time, when i short circuited some wires when i was attempting to install a remote key system...........

This is what i have done so far:

1.I replaced all the fusible links i could find:
Six or seven links behind the power brake booster
And one 22ga link next to / under the battery.
I have +12V before and after the links on all of them.

2. I Checked all the fuses in the fusebox with a continuitytester and testlamp

3. I Have checked the circuit breaker and have +12V on all the terminals except for the yellow one, and i think that one feeds the diagnostic connector.

4. I have +12 At the "big" wire at the headlight switch ( Red with white stripe )

5. I have No voltage at the big red wire in the doorlock switch

Is it possible that the wires are burned between the headlight switch and the powerdoorlockswitch?

Please help me with suggestions troubleshooting this before i break down

Best regards // Mike

Keep tracing wires. If you shorted it that bad it probably fried something else. Lesson learned, disconnect the battery before starting electrical work.

Door lock switch should have power regardless. Trace it back to where it gets power from. The headlight switch may have more than one "hot" wire going to it. Check power with the lights on, There may be a connection issue with them somewhere.
