Thanks, my brother in law suggested letting a tree fall on it. Went out to try the drier thing, just to check I started it first, did fine, restart fine, CEL was off. Hit the road for local run, CEL came back on before got out of drive but ran fine, no idle/die issues, seemed as smooth as it used to be. Think I will go ahead and install the convertor. Will check the code when buddy get his checker back. It was about 55 Deg by the way.

That's definitely one solution, and there'd be plenty of kindling to finish the job off if needed lol! Really now, rather hope you figure it out to enjoy driving it a while.

Not worried about getting enjoyment, just getting it right to get it sold and feel good that I am not selling someone a problem. Have had several small churches wanting it certainly do not want to get on the wrong side of that equation, (;-). With the shelving in it makes more sense as work van which is what I used it for. I have not found any like it around here with under 100k and in as good shape as "Judge Judy" which is what the previous owner called it. One of the earlier problems I experienced matched the stalling, shutting off, with the gauges not working, never saw a no buss though. That seemed to be fixed with the first crank pos sensor replacement. Current plan is to put on converter, drive some, check/clear code. If continues probably get reman computer.

Think symptoms would be different with switch, everything seems to work fine and all lights do as should.
