Default IAC replacement

Vehicle is 2002 1500 5.2 114,000 miles. Currently on my 3rd IAC valve. Both replacements were Borg Warner. Is the Mopar OEM IAC any better? Was thinking of replacing the IAT,Map and Coolant Temperature Sensors also since they are original.

Aftermarket iac's are hit or miss. Have heard of people going threw several before finding one that works. What is the issue with yours? Did you clean the throttle body when you replaced it?

The problem is it won't stay running unless I keep my foot on the gas. Yes I have cleaned the port out each time when replacing. Just replaced the spark plugs and had a fuel injection cleaning done.

Get one from the dealer. Yes, they are more expensive...... but, they work MUCH better than the aftermarket fellers. Disconnect the battery while you change it. When you have it all back together, turn the ignition to "On" (not start) and count to ten. THEN start it up. Don't touch the gas if you don't have to.
