46re compatable? 97 van vs 2000 dakota rt

got a GREAT but high milage 97 318 2500 coversion van..... torque converter is beginning to slip going into lock up.

have found 2000 rt 46re for good price.....

will it swap?????? the rt was a 360, i assume.

Bolt right in, hook right up, BUT, you have to change the electronics in the trans to the 97 versions. Also need the correct (97) retainer for the governor stuff.
