We would like to keep our doors open in our conversion van without draining the car battery, any insight on how to disable the interior lights when the doors open would be much help. Thank you kindly!

 

Unless the conversion company installed a switch for just such a purpose, there really isn't a good way of doing it...... Maybe installing a switch of your own? I don't have wiring diagrams, so, can't really give you any advice on that score.

Yours may be different and not do this, but did you try to turn your headlight **** to the right? That's what turns mine to "off" while doors are open. All the way left will dim dash lights and switch interiors to manual "on"
