Default metal dust in transmission pan

Hi guys, I was doing some routine maintenance on my 97 b3500, and went to replace the fluid and filter in my tranny, after dropping the pan, I noticed some fine metal dust on the bottom of the pan, the magnet also has some very fine metal dust attatched to it also,,,is this normal?, I have done a lot miles on it this year, some really long distance trips, but do not recall anything to strenuous on the tranny, always careful to not overheat it, and never towed with it either,, ,just a little worried that a tranny failure might be on the way,,, any input would be truly appreciated,,, thank you,,,,

There is a certain amount of wear that takes place. I don’t see it as a problem.
