I'm having this exact same issue currently.. crack in the plastic OEM tank and can't seem to find a replacement. How did you end up solving your question?

Any help would be much appreciated.. I'm stuck.

Which engine do you have, and what size gas tank? Yep, it makes a difference. No idea why. (aside from the size, obviously.)

Part number (mopar) is 5217976

Unfortunately, I am unable to find one ANYWHERE. All the mopar sites show discontinued. (not really a surprise) I don't think even dorman makes a replacement for them any more.... May have to drop yours, and see if you can't patch it up. Might have a chat with a radiator shop, and see if they can do anything for you.

Good Luck......

Appreciate you checking. Have been looking for a while now and can't find anything either.

Have you heard of people patching plastic cracks like that? I understand fire liability is a big thing when it comes to patching. But I feel like it can be done well, no?

Other than that, have you heard of people having to resort to getting someone to build a custom tank?
