Default 1986 Dodge Camper van
AC compressor seized, looking for a way to bypass or find bypass pulley. Can I just find another 318 without air and add idler pulley? Any ideas.

Idler pulley likely bolts to the same bracket, so, if you can find one in the junkyard, that should work.

Don't want to replace the compressor?

Van still runs good but do not need the expense of new A/C

Serpentine belt system? Could you just use a shorter belt? Or does routing complicate that?
