I have recently replaced the ECM in my 2001 Ram 1500 van. The new computer needs to be flashed accordingly so all computers can talk to each other accurately. Is there anything that can be purchased that will allow me to do this with my Laptop. Or do I have to take it to a dealership? Any and all info would be appreciated

 

You can get software that will allow you to do that, but, it runs in the neighborhood of 500 bucks and up. The dealer will likely charge a hundred bucks, or less, to do it for you.
