Default Ram Van 3500 Replacing Hazard Switch

Hey guys! I'm having trouble getting the Hazard/Blinker Switch out of my 3500 van (needs to be replaced.) Tried looking online for turorials, but all I found were ones for trucks. I thought they were the same, but they seem way different. Any insights? Thanks!

Is it a separate switch, or is it part of the multi-function switch??

It's the multi-function switch with the hazard switch, blinker, hi-lights, and wiper control. It's a 2002. I need to replace it because the hazard button won't stay in the "off" position, so it stays on. Right now I just have it taped down to keep it off.

Hhhmmm....... I don't know enough about those to be of much help. What I CAN suggest though, is picking up a FACTORY service manual for your van. (not chilton, not haynes) That will tell you exactly what you need to know.

Can we assume you removed the steering wheel?

No, haven't removed the steering wheel. I was kinda hoping I wouldn't have to. Accoring to the tutorials I found about the Ram trucks, all you needed to do was turn the steering wheel to 9 o'clock to acess 2 screws which secured the switch. I was hoping it would be the same for the Ram Vans, but accoring to your question, I'm assuming that's far from the case.

It's been like 10 years since I changed my switch so I could be wrong, but I think I did have to remove the steering wheel.
