Van has set for 2 years starter was bad I replaced it than I got it started for around 2 min then it slung the belt alternator locked up then it wouldn't start back put Altenator on it it started up ran 2 or 3 min turn it off now it won't start back put 10 gal new gas in it,what should I check next. Thanks

What year van? What engine?

 

What should I check first fuel filter,fuel pump,spark ?

 

What year is it? Engine?

How much gas was in it before you added some?

 

I'm not sure but it have fuel stableliser in it I put 10 gal in it and now it almost on a half tank the fuel gauge don't work unless it's running

 

So, probably not a lot of gas was left in it. (actually, it probably wasn't even really gas any more......)

Still need to know what year, and what engine.

 

I been looking at utube and I think by the fuel gauge not working and brake lights on and others it's the brain box over the motor,PCM

Need to check and see if you are getting spark, and see what fuel pressure looks like. Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you first turn the key?
