Hello,
does anyone have advice or know of a YouTube video about replacing a water pump on a B250 V8 5.2 liter/ 318 magnum. It has air conditioning and looks like it’s going to be involved taking it fan and shroud out the top. Can it be taken out the bottom?

the 89 is different from my 92----------sorry

 

I did it on my 97 b3500.its not as hard as it looks, I think I did remove the shroud through the bottom, after unscrewing it, I removed the bottom first, then spun the top section towards the bottom then slid it out,,,while I was in there, I replaced the pulley bearings, and the timing chain, it was easy since everything was already off,I ,have one the repair manuals, and it made it much easier for me, hope this helps,, take care.,,,,

Thanks for the info. Good idea about replacing the timing chain and other arts while I’m in there. Do you know of a good repair manual that you would recommend?

 

I have the chilton repair manual, and I watched a lot of YouTube videos, if you any questions, let me know and I’ll try my best to help you, take care,,

 

You can get a factory service manual for 20 bucks or so, that you can download in pdf format. Or, get one on CD for about the same price. Factory manual is MUCH better than haynes, or chilton. It also has wiring diagrams specific to your vehicle.
