Default 92 Ram B350, Can’t find Fuel Filter!

Hi Folks, My van has been hesitating recently while accelerating under load and I’m suspecting a fuel issue. I have a spare fuel filter but I can’t find the fuel filter anywhere under the van. The manual says it’s supposed to be located on the frame near the front passenger wheel well. It’s nowhere to be found anywhere I could see in this area. I looked at it under a lift with a mechanic yesterday and he couldn’t see it either. I just double checked today by crawling under the van and came up negative. I’m also under the impression that the 1992 model does NOT have the assembly located in the tank and that the tank mounted pump/filter was done in 1993 onwards.

Engine is the 360 V8. My van is a Roadtrek camper with some tanks underneath but I can’t imagine the fuel filter would be hidden behind the tanks.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

93 I think was the first year for the Magnum 360, in which case, the fuel filter would indeed be IN the gas tank, part of the fuel pump module. Which side of the van is your gas tank on??? Isn't it on the drivers side???

My fuel fill is on the drivers side but the tank is closer to the passenger side. Fuel lines run up front on the passenger side.

My understanding is that the fuel filter/pump went into the tank in 93. Maybe some later 92 models did this too?

Well it turns out my fuel pump and filter are ok, it’s my fuel injectors that are bad....
