Default Fuel filter replacement

Hello all,

I have a 1990 Dodge Xplorer B350 and want to change the fuel filter. The manual says I have to depressure the system by grounding and energizing a plug at the TBI. My question is “is there another way to depressurize the system?” Can I ill a fuse? My fuse box has no diagram so I basically don’t know what fuse is for what! Thank you in advance!

IS there a power distribution center under the hood somewhere? Fuel pump fuse *should* be in there somewhere.

I am no sure. I can check. Do you know what it looks like?

Black box, fair sized, should be near the battery. LOTS of wires going in/out of it.

You don't have to depressureize the system to get the filter off---it helps but just don't do it on a hot engine...that is why they say to do that...
