1999 Dodge Van 1/2 ton.
Replaced shiftier cable and now van will not start. And yes, van started before cable R and R. FRUSTRATING!!!!
Help???

 

Need to readjust the cable.

 

Put your foot firmly on the brake, reach over with your left hand and hold the key in the start position, now move the shift level down and see if the starter engages in any of the positions. Be aware if it starts the vehicle might want to move, so keep your foot firmly on the brake.
