Default My Towing Setup

Hey folks, getting ready to tow my Fiat 500 Abarth to the race track in a few weeks for the final event of the year. Decided to go with a heavy duty single axle trailer with brakes. Take a look!

I would have probably gotten a longer bed tandem axle. However, if this will be a dedicated trailer for that car, it should work fine. I use my equipment for a variety of things so I like to have versatility. I don't think I've ever seen a beaver tail single axle though. It should handle corners pretty well.

I debated going bigger but this trailer doubles as my utility trailer and will easily carry a Miata which is 10" longer than the Fiat. I was shooting for one trailer to rule them all ;-).

If the car was just a little smaller you would only need a couple of ramps to drive it into the back of the van.

Back in the early 70's, I watched a van unload a Honda 600 to use as a pit bike. I'd never seen one of them before. The Fiat dwarfs them.
