If you have a scanner that can read live data, watch what coolant temp is doing the first ten minutes.

Thanks, HeyYou.

I connected a scanner and measured the coolant temp. It continuously increased to around ~190F.

Ok, so that's as it should be.

Check the IAT sensor as well. (intake air temp)

Seems like once it gets fully into closed loop, it runs ok? 45 PSI is a bit low for fuel pressure, but, I think still within the acceptable range..... Can you monitor that while driving??

Hi again.

I checked both the IAT and the fuel pressure and both ok.

I found some spikes from the distributor. I replaced it, the wires and some of the spark plugs I managed to remove.

Now the car doesn't start at all.

I verified the distributor position aiming at the 1st piston while TDC (top dead center)... Any ideas?

I suspect the distributor is off. With #1 at TDC, there is a depression in the distributor body the rotor should be pointing at, and its more toward cylinder 2, than 1......
