Reliable? Yes. Powerful? Not even in your most bizarre dreams. It's a tiny little motor in a HUGE van.

However, they will run forever, if given proper maintenance.

I, for one, never really understood putting such an underpowered motor in a van though...... 5.2 or 5.9 would be better, and gas mileage would likely be about the same.
