1990 B150 5.2L

After disconnecting battery, next startup results in rough, looping idle. Sometimes engine stalls when cold on slow take off. Issue is partially resolved when placed in reverse, but not drive, neutral, or park. The issue slowly gets better as the vehicle is driven and warmed up, but does not go away for some time, a day or two. Once it goes away, everything is fine, and it doesn't return unless the battery is disconnected again.

Likely going thru it's re-learn process, though, I wouldn't think it would take a couple days for it to figure it out.......
