i found my problem and it ended up being the ingnition switch. at the time it would crank and start but just randomly run strange. die randomly and hick up bad, loose power and die at stop lights. 100% was the ignition switch module. not the key tumbler but the black box. 3 bolts mounting it to steering column. hope this helps.

 

Replaced the ECM, problem solved.
