So i was taking off the air cleaner assembly when i noticed one of the two hoses connected to it had metal in it. It had broken off from the back side of the throttle body. Very very difficult to reach and clean break with the throttle body. Does anyone know what this hose is? it smells like gas...then again everything including my air flter reaks of gas. which is what i was looking into. pics to come.

 

So difficult to reach, i even have trouble just gluing the part back there. What is this hose for?

Any detrimental effects of taking my time to repair it ?(not concerned for the environment)
