Default front shock torque

Hello, can someone please advise the torque for 2001 dodge van 1500 front shocks bottom bolts and top nut

Not sure what that translates to in ft/lbs.

On the trucks, the lower bolts are torqued to some truly stupid value, in the neighborhood of 110 ft/lbs.... That's pretty freakin' tight..... as for the uppers, don't know. A lot depends on how they mount.

I'd be interested to know the torque specs as well. Just bought new Bilsteins and wouldn't mind not overtightening anything.

Personally, never bothered with torque specs for shocks. That's just me though.

Id have to check the manual, but I remember some where around 75ft/lbs bottom and 20 top.

It’s done. They’re in tight. TBH, I don’t think it’d be possible to torque the top bolt anyway, due to the piston spinning in the bushing, even when tight.
