Hey all,

About to change valve cover gaskets on a 2000 Ram Van 1500 V8 5.2L with 200k miles. They seem to be leaking fierce enough for oil to be pooling in the driveway.

Anything else I should do while I'm in there? I've heard the PCV seal dies and falls in or something like that. Or any rookie mistakes I'm liable to make?

Replacing the grommets for the pcv valve, and it's elbow in the other valve cover, really isn't a bad idea.

If you haven't done a tune-up in a while, now would be a great time.
