Radiator Fan clutch 97 dodge ram van 3500
Cannot figure out how to remove this thing. I've got air hammers, torches and breaker bars and it still won't come loose. Which way do I spin it off? The clutch says it's reverse rotation. I've tried both ways and it won't break loose. Does anyone know how this comes off. Again it's a 97 dodge ram b3500 van. With Max cooling, heavy duty fan clutch. The blade fins left side is closest to radiator. And the right side fin is closest to motor. If that helps you get a visual. If you are standing in front of the van.. The fan is spinning counter clock wise. If you in the drivers seat looking straight. The fan spins clockwise. This is a reverse rotation fan. Where the bald side of belt spins the waterpump pulley counter clockwise. The grooved sides spin the grooved pulleys clockwise. Which way does this clutch come off? I'm assuming lefty loosey righty tighty in this scenario, right? Just can't break it loose.

Standing in front of the van, it's righty tighty, lefty loosey.
I put a pipe wrench on mine, and smacked it with a hammer a couple times, and it broke right loose. (belt still in place) Then I could unthread it by hand.
