Default Conversion kit for fan clutch to Dual E-Fans. ?

97 dodge b3500, 5.9.

wondering if there is a kit to convert the old fan clutch to dual electric fans. One that requires little to no modifications. I've heard about the viper set up and there is one or 2 options on summit racing. Are there any out there that has been fabricated to this van specifically?

None that are going to be vehicle specific..... but, and of the kits that will physically fit on your radiator can be made to work. Just make sure the fans give enough air flow to keep the engine cool in your operating environment.

Would it be a terrible idea to install a dual pusher fan in front while keeping the old fan clutch? Or would this throw off the CFM rating for both? I think my issue is air flow to the condenser and radiator. The HD fan&clutch doesn't seem to pull enough air thru on hotter days. Thus resulting in bad a/c and engine cooling. Engine Temps rise slightly above operating temp. but if I can get them to stay lower I'm guessing that will help both systems overall. Trying to decide the best route to go.

Adding fans in addition to the stock fan, is never a bad idea, and will likely dramatically improve a/c performance when sitting still. I would be tempted to wire them inline with the a/c compressor. If the compressor is running, the fans should be too.

Is it good? If it's working correctly you will hear a "roar" coming from the fan when you first rev the motor after cold start.

FWIW I tried that and thought it worked a little...especially when over 85...but I ended up taking it off when I had to replace the condensor...
Now that was the best thing I ever did for my AC after the compressor itself.

Well shoot. I noticed both of these symptoms on my 2000 Ram Van. Both that the van was getting slightly hotter than normal operating temp when at a standstill on a hot day AND that the AC seems a little weak after I just got a new compressor put in. They didn't change out the condenser though...

I was also thinking of installing a pusher fan.

I installed the Dorman heater core bypass hose and got the vent Temps down to 50°F on a sunny 95°day. At night when it's 80 I was seeing mid 40°F Temps at vent. Still seems like my issue is airflow over the condenser. Now if I had a dual fan set up in front of the condenser I garuntee the Temps would be 35-38°F on sunny hot day. Which if I could get to that point, It sure would be nice. Now just gotta fabricate my own dual fan setup. More $ and time👍

Does the heater core bypass do what it sounds like? No heater during the winter?
