My dads Ram van 3500 A/C and heat stopped working, so I removed the glovebox to assess the situation, assuming the typical blend door issue. The thermostat actuator functions, but there's a missing component that connects the pivot arm to the blend door rod. I can't seem to find any diagrams online. The Ram truck is not the same, so it will not help. Does anyone have a pic or diagram of this clip or component for the actuator blend door rod?

 

Try going to one of the mopar parts sites, that actually has pics/diagrams of the various parts.

That is for the unit assembly under the hood. I need a parts diagram of the assembly the is behind the glove compartment for the Ram van 3500

 

Or that might be a diagram of the rear HVAC assembly.

 

This is the diagram for the front vents under the dash. Item 16 is the clip that connects the actuator motor to the linkage rod. Naturally it is discontinued, so your best bet would be a junkyard.

I get 4885297AA, which, unfortunately, shows as discontinued, and I cannot find a source for it. I think the used market is going to be your only alternative...... or improvise something.
