So, she’ll fire up, but will idle a little rough.
Some days it runs just fine other times it’ll stall.
I cleaned out the throttle body, as best as I could and it ran a little better, but can still stall.
when it stalls, it takes a while before it’ll run again. So, I’m exploring fuel pump issues.
went to check the relay and this what I saw.
I circled the empty socket.
what’s missing?
To be fair I have same situation, I broke the plastic tab off the back of the relay that attaches it to the firewall .... (note to self .... remove plenum when lifting motor out of vehicle)
The relay should be sitting to the left of the other relay on the firewall.
IMHO your missing relay in question is not for the fuel system .... if it was missing it would never run, possibly the other relay is correct?
My image is a 1993 Dodge Caravan ... totally different vehicle, just typical placement in that era.
Looks like the EMCC/TCC relay socket. On my 94 B350 PleasureWay I found mine the same way with no relay in it. In my research on this and other forums, it seems to be a mystery that is best left alone. The fuel pump relay socket is attached the bulkhead on mine.
