Operating temp range?
sounds like your fan clutch...
when my thermo housing was leaking, I would get a noticeable and consistent squeak...very much unlike a bad idler pulley...
your radiator doesnt look bad, but not great...I would fix it too...
funny thing is that the pic you posted about another radiator is not a 2000 radiator...the 2000 has a single core...the two core is an upgrade and also in the older non magnum vans - I think. I know the original I pulled out of my 03 was a single row plastic...i replaced it with the two row copper one...much better...
but I still have high temps pulling a 5500lb trailer -- well....maybe  I probably should

Interesting I didn’t notice it was a two core. How hot is hot? I want to know that I can pull without worrying about temp.
I definitely have a tiny leak as I pushed a paper towel down there and it came up wet.
Im still wondering if I replace it if I’m gonna dump a ton of trans fluid and if I can do anything about that or just let it dump and refill it.

That’s good to know. I’ve never opened up the transmission system before. Anything else I need to know besides getting the quick connect tool from harbor freight?
Just drain coolant and then open the trans lines at the radiator to collect fluid. Remove and replace radiator. Refill coolant. Replace equivalent amount of trans fluid. Check levels.

Get one of the aluminum SINGLE SIZE tools. I tried one of the plastic 'multi-size' fellers, and it wouldn't physically fit between the fitting, and the radiator.... another trip into town.
Conveniently enough, the fuel line is also the same size.....
No matter how hard you try, you will never get the coolant to drain down enough, that it won't make a mess when you pull the radiator.
Be prepared for that...... (or, maybe I just have bad luck.
