Having problems finding a new or refurbished ecu for my van. Does anyone know where I can find one or a good company to go through to get mine fixed if I can’t find one. They seem to be out of stock for that model on all the normal auto parts stores.

also wondering if there is any other ecu that would work. Like maybe the 3.9L ecu for the 93 models?

 

3.9 PCM most certainly will NOT work. 5.9 probably would, but, it'll run excessively rich in open loop.

Have a part number from your existing PCM?

 

The ecm part number I’m looking for is 56027850.

 

Theoretically, auto parts prime has 'em. There are a bunch listed on EBay as well, but, not a lot of info in the item header. I would expect that an ECM from ANY 5.2/auto, 95 and older *should* work.

 

They claim to have it in stock, but no price is listed. I bought a PCM for my Jeep from them, it works just fine. FYI, they are refurbished, not new.
