Well - after doing the wheel bearings...yea I had a bad one...but the some of the vibration is still there...
It happens at 1600-1700RPM and at around 2000....
It feels like the torque converter or something in the drivetrain is vibrating...when I take i out of gear, yea -- yea - it goes away

Sooooooo at 200k+++ miles and driven everywhere from Chicago to Boston to Dallas and all over Florida, towing a 6000 trailer at times, well it may be time for a tranny...

Here is some of the help I need...is this the TC vibrating? Or is it a clutch pack? Is there any way to really tell?
I really dont think a fluid swap would help...probably make it worse - right? Fluid condition is pink...and no burn smell.

I have a few good lines on a few rebuilds...they are quite expensive though...the stage 2 build I want is 3100...that is with core trade...
Anyone know of anyone good that does them cheaper? It is getting hard to affordability in anything anymore.

Do you only feel the vibration in O/D?? If so, if you disable O/D does it stop/reduce??

Yes - in second I feel it too...

I havent ruled out a u-joint yet...but the shimmy/vibration is fairly strong in the wheel and floor...

I check it out this weekend...but at 200K++ I think a trans may be needed soon...

Would the TC feel that way?

On my old truck, I did a tuneup, made sure I checked firing order three times...... and still got it wrong. So, I had two dead cylinders. You could barely notice it in the first three gears, but, once it hit O/D, it felt like the truck was trying to shake itself apart...... Don't feel it much thru the steering though. That kinda points to a front suspension problem....
