Default 3500 Van ( 2000 ) front a/c or heater fan dead

Have 2000 Ram Van, 3500. While running A/C this week, the fan simply stopped working.

I've tested the fuse under the hood. No blown fuses on the interior side panel. The mid cabin fan works fine, but front fan does not work for any speed. So seems like down to electrical problem or the fan is just good and dead.

To be clear, mid cabin fan has all speeds of the fan working, front fan as zero speeds working.

Here looking for next steps on troubleshooting, perhaps common problems, and basics of the front fan electrical system.

See if you are getting power to the fan with the ignition on. Pretty sure it is the ground side that controls speed. Might be a bad fan, or might be a bad resistor block.

I second that, same thing happened to me, was resistor. The weird thing plugged into front of the HVAC unit.
Although confused about the mid fan working but not the rest.
Mid as in the rear HVAC system?
