bed liner for 2004 Ram Quad 15
I just bought my first truck ever...I'm coming from a 1993 Geo Prizm so I'm still in shock...pleased, but in shock.
Where can I find a bed liner (los angeles) and what should I pay for it?
Thanks

Hello Noolio. Welcome to the Dodge Forum.
Your first decision regarding a bedliner is whether you want a spray-in
or a plastic fitted liner. There are advantages to both.
Spray-in bedliners will never trap moisture and rust under them, but of
course can never be removed. Plastic bedliners can be removed
(and the bed underneath washed out), but cheap ones won't fit well and
will detract from your otherwise sweet ride.
If you go for spray-in, consider a Rhino Liner
above all others. They're a little expensive (about $300 last
time I looked in New England), but last a lifetime. Drop-in
bedliners range in price from $99 Walmart varieties all the way up to Mopar OEM for $250.
I have the Mopar under-the-rails bedliner on my '04 Ram 1500 QC.
It's nice, but if it didn't come with the truck, I would've driven out
of the Dodge lot and right to a Rhino dealer.

If you are considering spray-in (in my opinion, the better of the 2 options), also consider Line-X. I had one sprayed in after 250 miles on my '02 Quad and couldn't be happier. Looks as new as the day I bought it, 18K miles later.

I have a BedRug. Awesome product, looks great, and it's easy on the knees. But then I also have a LoRider lid, so my bed is basically like a huge trunk. A BedRug may or may not be a good option, especially if you don't have either a lid or cap over the bed. The BedRug runs on average $350. It can be taken out, cleans up very easily, and provides excellent protection for the painted surface of the bed.
This is so cool. Thanks for all your input. Every day when I walk out and see my truck, it makes me happy.

I'm going with all the other posts! If the dealer hadn't thrown in a drop in when we did the deal, I would have went with a spray- in also. I have rub marks on the rails from it and sometimes if there's some dirt, etc. under the bedliner, it blows up at highways speeds. Not bad enough to block your vision, but enough to get your attention while you're looking in your rear-view mirror! So, on that note, it wouldbe worth the expense of a spray in. You might want to make sure that the professional that spraysthe liners does them quite often. Sometimes when product is old or not rotated, it doesn't cure properly. I've seen a couple of cases around my hometown where the installer was a straight-up guy and his product was old. It made him look bad, all because he didn't spray liners that often. Good Luck!
