Question.

I have heard that having a sport edition dodge ram is some what "rare".

But, any ways i just recently bought a dodge ram 1500 sport editon. On the side of the truck it says "HEMI powered". And the interior is all leather with "sport" written on the seats. Front seats are also bucket seats. I was wondering if the place i bought it from (which is a used car dealership) may have just done all of these things them self. OR does dodge have a limited number of these trucks.

BY THE WAY i am asking just because i have noticed i have never seen a truck like mine before.

There have been "sport" options as far back as the major redesign in the early 90's. I've seen them across the board, from 1500 to 3500 DRW. I will say you don't see alot of them but they're out there. I just bought an '07 Ram sport.
The big thing is it comes with body colored bumpers & grill, 20" chrome wheels - i've seen some of the older ones with factory body colored wheels, bucket seats & console. Can be had in any drive configuration (4X2 or 4X4). In short it's packaged like an SLT, or Laramie.

Nice truck, mine doesn't say "Hemi Powered" on the rear quarters, just has the badges on the front fenders.

yea i know...its pretty hard to keep that black looking clean...
